Woman killed in Springsure crash
A Sunshine Coast woman has died in a ute rollover last night near Springsure

A 49-year-old woman has died in a car accident near Springsure overnight.
A police spokesperson suggested the ute was travelling along the Dawson Highway when it left the road and rolled just before 11pm at Cairdbeign.
It was reported the Sunshine Coast woman - who was the front passenger of the vehicle - became trapped and died at the scene.
The driver, a 49-year-old Springsure man, was treated for suspected spinal injuries, while a 16-year-old passenger was assessed for head and arm injuries.
Both were transported to the Emerald Hospital in stable conditions.
The accident brings the Queensland road death toll to 149 fatalities - a 22 per cent increase to August 2019.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the cause of the accident.
