Multi-vehicle crash in Emerald
Two cars have collided at the corner of Opal and Campbell street in Emerald.
QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency Station Officer Scott Castree said a single cab utility and a sedan vehicle were involved in the collision.
Initial observations suggest the sedan has received a side impact and caused the vehicle to overturn.
Two occupants were able to self-extricate from the vehicle with the assistance of bystanders prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
The sole occupant of the utility and two occupants of the sedan all had minor injuries but were relatively unscathed given the significant impact of the crash. The two occupants of the overturned vehicle were taken to Emerald Hospital for further observation.
Emerald Fire and Rescue crews worked to contain oil spills on the roadway in the interest of public safety.
