Critically injured motorcyclist loses his fight for life
The 47-year-old man from Toowoomba died at the scene despite the efforts of emergency workers to save him.
A 47-year-old man from Toowoomba succumbed to his injures Wednesday afternoon at the scene of a single motorcycle crash in the Central Highlands earlier in the day.
Police stated that the motorcyclist had lost control for unknown reasons as he was travelling from Capella along Crinum Road, near Belcong Creek, towards Tieri.
Despite the efforts of emergency workers, including paramedics, police and an RACQ Rescue helicopter they were unable to save his life.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
A serious accident near
Belcong Creek this morning has left a motorcyclist, who was on his way to
Capella, fighting for his life.
Paramedics attended an accident at Crinum Road, near Belcong Creek, just before 10am Wednesday morning.
Later in the morning an RACQ Rescue helicopter, police and fire crews arrived on the scene.
The identity and age of the victim remains unclear but there are grave fears for his life.
