The Irish Village Emerald held their Kids Easter Party on Saturday, March 27, providing free entry for parents and a small fee of $10 for kids.

Owner and Manager of The Irish Village Sunshine Matthews said the kids party had heaps of activities on the day, including an egg and spoon race.

“The kids were given a free gift each which included an activity pack, and there were all sorts of easter themed snacks from the kitchen,” Mrs Matthews said.

“We had around about 60 kids attending on the day, along with their parents.

“The photobooth was in operation for free, there were games and a colouring station.”

Mrs Matthews said the kids “ran around in the aircon all afternoon”.

“The event ran from 3pm to 5pm,” she said.

“It was really nice that the community came down to support another kids’ party.

“We keep getting better with experience – the parents said it was well-worth the $10 entry fee and everyone had a good time.

“We had an online competition where selected participants won free entry.

“We’re planning another kids party mid-year, so keep an eye out for the chosen theme,” she said.

There was an egg-cellent Easter-themed spread from the kitchen on the day.

The Irish Village boasted fun for the whole family.
