The study found that, almost one in 10 Australian women in a relationship have suffered through domestic violence during the COVID-19 crisis, with two-thirds of these women saying the attacks started or worsened during the pandemic.

The study found that 60 per cent of people who were assisted by specialist homelessness agencies in 2018-2019 were female.

In 2019, 134,392 handbags were collected for adults, teens, and mums.
