Highlands businesses urged to seek guidance
THE easing of COVID-19 restrictions has raised uncertainty among business owners, causing the Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC) to urge retailers to contact state government about undertaking the appropriate safety measures during stage three.
CHRC Mayor, Kerry Hayes, said to undertake all precautions specified in the Queensland Government’s Roadmap to Easing Restrictions.
"Come mid-July, we should see the rules relaxed further as stage three of the roadmap is rolled out," Cr Hayes said. "While we are always happy to help, I remind people that at this point in time the best contact is Queensland Health — particularly when it comes to questions about exemptions.
"For their assistance, just give them a call on 13 74 68."
